Summary
Provide safety information to the guests prior to starting the zip line tour. Guide guests through various zip lines and bridges while providing guests with a safe and enjoyable experience.
MAIN JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensures guests experience the “E.X.C.U.R.S.I.O.N. of a lifetime” by being attentive to the needs and/or wants of the guests, answering any and all questions guests may have throughout the excursion, and notifying management of unhappy guests and/or obtaining guests’ information for management to contact them
Monitors the safety of our guests at all times
Performs chores before, during, and after tours to include, but are not limited to, the following: cleaning bathrooms, emptying trash cans, stocking the refreshment area, chopping wood, clearing brush, and cleaning equipment
Daily safety check of the course and equipment
Assists guests getting into and out of all vehicles
Presents guests with quality, accurate information during the tour
Present guests with safety information prior to starting and during the zip line tour
Guides guests through the course providing a safe and enjoyable experience
Ensures that guests are outfitted with the proper safety equipment
Maintains and properly stores gear
Adhering to all company policies
Striving to accomplish goals discussed with management during the monthly evaluations
Our guides love being with people and are very good at keeping our guests entertained all throughout the tour.
In between tours, our guides help perform general maintenance on the course and its equipment and perform other chores around camp (such as chopping wood, cleaning bathrooms, etc.) as well.
Requirements:
Our zip-line guides love being around people and enjoy making sure they experience they tour of their dreams. The position involves a high level of guest interaction, so exceptional customer service skills is a must.
They also have the ability to lead and direct groups of people. They are extremely detail-oriented when it comes to safety.
Lastly, they do not have a fear of heights.
Working Conditions:
Frequent work is performed outside, so position will frequently be subject to possible adverse weather conditions and variations in temperature
May occasionally be subject to different odors throughout the day to include, but is not limited to, dog poop
May be subject to noise, to include but not limited to, constant dog barking at dog camp
Position involves frequent sitting, standing, and walking
Must be able to lift and carry buckets weighing up to 40lbs for a distance of 200 feet (usually no more than 30 minutes a day is spent performing this activity)
