Zach Gordon Youth Services is looking for a qualified individual to become a Youth Development Leader helping

run grant funded afterschool programs in Douglas!

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for someone who is dedicated to Juneau’s youth and families. Someone who is interested in program development that is creative, fun, and place based. We are looking for someone who is excited to support and connect with families by hosting a monthly family night and communicating with families about upcoming activities and events. We are looking for someone who is a self-starter, organized, and has a sense of humor about things. We are looking for someone who values relationships and is skilled in building in nurturing them.

WORKING HOURS AND LOCATION

This posting is for one (1) part-time position. Work will coincide with the Juneau School District calendar.

Typical Responsibilities

You will be helping us run a grant funded afterschool program!

In this position you will be working directly with youth, providing on-site programming 10 - 15 hours a week at either Geneva Woods or Cedar Park. This will include monthly family nights, field trips, and ongoing support of youth.

The position is responsible for creating an overall safe and engaging space for youth.
