Supervised Clinical Practice:
is the culminating component of the preparation program, typically requiring 500 to 1,000 hours of intensive, field-based experience. Often described as student teaching, internship, or professional residency, this placement is completed near the end of a candidate’s program and represents the transition into independent practice. Candidates are expected to take on the full range of professional responsibilities appropriate to their field, such as leading instruction, managing caseloads, conducting assessments, delivering counseling or therapy, documenting services, engaging in family communication, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. Throughout the placement, candidates receive formal supervision and evaluation from both field and academic personnel to ensure readiness for professional certification or licensure.

Alaska politics is a small world. If you can't be seen job-hunting, submit a sealed interest: the employer sees only your alias and pitch. Your name and contact stay sealed until they request an introduction and you approve it. Decline, and they never learn who asked.
