Southeast Senior Services in Juneau is recruiting for a Site Manager to run the Juneau Senior Center and Meals on Wheels program. Duties include managing nutrition program services, monitoring client eligibility, safety, and needs, managing all other services and activities at the senior center, supervising staff and volunteers, carrying out administrative policies, maintaining program records, preparing reports, managing site facility, and overseeing operations, conducting marketing activities, and overseeing financial management.

Qualifications

Ability to communicate and relate to seniors in a positive manner. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently and operate basic office equipment, including a computer, are required. Experience using Word and Excel. Knowledge of food service practices and strong interpersonal skills required. One year of customer experience required. Experience working in social services and one year of supervisory experience preferred. Must have an Alaska driver’s license and vehicle. Background check required.

This position is full-time, 37.5 hours a week. Starting wage: $28-$31/hour, DOE.
