AWAIC is hiring for a Shelter Supervisor!

The Shelter Supervisor helps lead day-to-day shift operations in our 24/7 emergency shelter, supporting staff as they provide compassionate, consistent services to survivors. In this role, you’ll supervise and train staff, coordinate schedules and coverage, respond to challenges, and work closely with shelter leadership to maintain a safe, welcoming environment. You’ll also participate in the Admin On-Call rotation and help make timely decisions when support is needed.

We’re looking for someone who is approachable, organized, dependable, and calm under pressure. Someone who communicates clearly, follows through, and helps staff build the confidence and skills they need to do meaningful and sometimes challenging work.
