We are seeking experienced and enthusiastic servers to join our fast-paced, high-volume restaurant. As a Server at 49th State Brewing Company, you’ll deliver outstanding guest experiences by providing attentive service, expert menu knowledge, and genuine Alaskan hospitality.

Only experienced servers who are passionate about hospitality and thrive in a dynamic environment need apply.

Key Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

Follow steps the steps of service every time

Provide outstanding table service by accurately taking and delivering food and beverage orders.

Memorize menu items, including daily specials, and actively upsell or suggest additional items to enhance the guest experience.

Prepare and present food items attractively, ensuring all required condiments, utensils, and accompaniments are included.

Maintain cleanliness and organization in all food service areas, including restocking paper goods, condiments, silverware, dishware, and beverages.

Ensure guest satisfaction by responding promptly and professionally to all inquiries and requests.

Some shifts may require working outdoors, with exposure to varying weather conditions.

Team members may be rotated between different service areas as needed.

Share knowledge with guests about local activities, attractions, and the Alaskan experience.

Job Requirements:

Must be 18 years of age or older to apply.

Minimum 3 years of experience in serving, customer service, or related front-of-house positions.

Proficiency with POS systems (Toast preferred).

Excellent communication skills — both verbal and written — with guests, coworkers, and management.

Strong teamwork skills and the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Required Certifications:

Must possess a valid Alaska Food Handler Card.

Must have a current TAPS (Training for Alcohol Professionals) certification.

Level 1 Beer Server certification through the Cicerone Certification Program (or willingness to obtain within 60 days of hire).
