What you will be doing:
Gathers and compiles survey data from two related maternal and child health surveys (the Pregnancy Risk Assessment Monitoring System-PRAMS, and the Childhood Understanding Behaviors Survey – CUBS) in three modes (mail, web, phone). This includes preparing mailouts, emailing, and interviewing mothers over the phone.
Uses two distinct computer systems to track each program’s follow-up with potential participants and respondents.
With guidance, performs ongoing assessment and analysis of the data system’s programmatic functions as they relate to data collection operations

The working environment you can expect:
This position is in the Frontier Building in midtown Anchorage. As Survey Data Manager, you'll work closely with administrative support, the Survey Operations Manager, the PRAMS Coordinator, and the CUBS Coordinator. The programs are part of the MCH Epidemiology Unit, which is housed in a suite with 12 other employees whose work primarily focuses on data and on providing technical and analytical assistance to co-workers in the Section of Women’s, Children’s, and Family Health.
