The Department of Revenue, Permanent Fund Dividend Division is recruiting for an Initial Processing Section Supervisor in Juneau!
This position is open to Alaska Residents only. Please check our

What You Will Be Doing:
The Permanent Fund Dividend Division’s PFD Specialist 1 is responsible for creating and maintaining all procedures relevant to the Initial Processing Section (IPS) unit and approving the work completed by the unit. This includes, but is not limited to:
Develop, implement and modify plans to process internally and externally generated streams of written communication between the division, applicants, state and federal agencies, and third parties (such as debt collectors), ensuring that processing deadlines are met.
Organize and assign work in collaboration with group leads and satellite office supervisors.
Provide a training program for state-wide division operational staff (imaging, data entry, mail processing and advanced clerical).
Supervise and recruit Juneau operational staff (imaging, data entry, mail processing and advanced clerical). This includes supervising between five to seven Office Assistant 1-3’s, two of which are seasonal.
Perform quality control, independently and through advanced clerical staff.
Analyze results to assess where process improvements can be implemented.
Coordinate priorities and processes with other functional managers and supervisors.

The Working Environment You Can Expect:
This position is located on the 11
th
floor of the State Office Building in downtown Juneau at the PFD’s largest office. The workspace offers an open floor design that allows natural light into the office
