What You’ll Be Doing

Serve as the first point of contact for Resident Services clients, residents, and community partners.

Answer questions, provide information, and connect individuals with appropriate resources and staff.

Assist with the creation and distribution of newsletters, forms, correspondence, and other department communications.

Process invoices, credit card receipts, and requisitions while maintaining organized department records.

Manage department mail, scan and route documents, and maintain filing systems.

Track department inventory, office supplies, event materials, and equipment.

Support Resident Services events by coordinating supplies, meeting logistics, attendance tracking, room reservations, and setup needs.

Assist with collecting and tracking program participation, referrals, outcomes, and grant-related data.

Coordinate Resident Services vehicle scheduling and maintenance needs.

Make travel arrangements and assist with scheduling meetings and recurring department activities.

Help develop and maintain efficient office systems and administrative processes.

What We’re Looking For

We're looking for someone who is highly organized and enjoys helping others. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, can manage multiple priorities at once, and takes pride in keeping operations running smoothly.

Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with residents, staff, vendors, and community partners.

Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.

Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry, recordkeeping, and document preparation.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.

Experience creating reports, tracking data, and maintaining spreadsheets and databases.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment.

Comfortable interacting with individuals from diverse cultural and economic backgrounds.

Working knowledge of standard office equipment and administrative procedures

The Basics

Associate's degree in Business or a related field; experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis.

Three (3) years of experience in an office or administrative support environment.

Typing speed of at least 50 words per minute.

Valid Alaska Driver's License.
