Office Assistant 2 located in Anchorage!

This position is in the General Government Unit (GGU) at a Range 10.

What You Will Be Doing:

This position provides administrative/clerical assistance to the Anchorage Workers’ Compensation office. Responsibilities include opening and distributing the mail, answering the main phone line, distributing documents in our electronic file system, maintaining office supplies, looking up case information to assist with administrative support to attorneys, medical providers, hearing officers and other professionals.

The Division of Workers’ Compensation is the agency charged with administering the Alaska Workers’ Compensation Act fairly and impartially to ensure the quick, efficient and predictable delivery of medical and indemnity benefits to injured workers at a reasonable cost to employers and insurance carriers. This position provides mission-critical clerical support to the Division.
