The Department of Corrections, Division of Health & Rehabilitative Services, is recruiting for a Long Term Non-Permanent Mental Health Clinician 3 position at the Fairbanks Correctional Center (FCC) located in Fairbanks, Alaska.

What You Will Be Doing:

Under the supervision of the Substance Use Disorder Criminal Justice Planner, this position will provide co-occurring disorder treatment to those housed at Fairbanks Correctional Center, including:

Conducting substance use disorder screenings and assessments through direct interviews, review of existing history and clinical observation to make appropriate treatment recommendation.

Conducting diagnostic screenings, risk assessments, and mental health evaluations of referred inmates through the review of existing history, prior psychological testing, clinical observations, and direct interviews.

Developing, implementing, and maintaining treatment plans for inmates assigned to caseload.

Coordinating mental health and substance use disorder treatment services at the facility.
