Maintenance Crew has a variety of job duties:
Operating a septic pumper truck and pumping waste sent down from the glacier
Maintenance and upkeep on crew housing on and off the glacier.
Occasional construction projects
Alaska State Ferry vehicle transfers
Vehicle maintenance
Must be a self starter and work well with others
Loading/unloading helicopters
Operates a variety of equipment
Will be called upon for a variety of jobs
Requirements:
CDL Class B with Tanker Endorsement preferred
DOT Health Card
Mechanically inclined or trained
Must be able to pass a drug test (including marijuana)
CPR and 1st Aid certifications
May be required to get a TSA badge
The season runs from April - October 1st
Shared housing provided at no cost
Meal allowance of $500/month
