Description
IS Program Manager - Enterprise Medical Device Strategy - Remote
The IS Program Manager – Enterprise Medical Device Strategy provides program leadership, strategic coordination, and execution oversight for enterprise initiatives within the Clinical Technology Strategy & Delivery pillar of IS, with a primary focus on enterprise medical device strategy. This role partners closely with senior leadership to translate strategic priorities into actionable programs of work, ensuring initiatives are structured, coordinated, and advanced with clarity, consistency, and measurable impact.
Balancing strategic support with tactical program leadership, the IS Program Manager leads the development and chartering of enterprise programs and initiatives, establishes program frameworks and governance structures, coordinates strategic workstreams, and facilitates cross-functional collaboration. Many initiatives will translate into downstream programs and projects executed by dedicated program management, project management, and implementation teams within CTS&D and across broader IS. While this role does not directly manage those downstream programs or projects, it maintains enterprise-level visibility and oversight to ensure alignment with strategic intent, organizational requirements, established timelines, and intended outcomes. The role also serves as a point of coordination and escalation, helping address cross-program dependencies, resolve barriers, and support execution teams as needed to maintain momentum and successful delivery.
In close partnership with senior leadership, this role helps establish the structure, processes, and organizational alignment necessary to advance enterprise medical device strategy. This includes supporting the development and execution of strategic roadmaps, coordinating enterprise initiatives, analyzing information and performance insights, and ensuring strategic priorities translate into meaningful operational outcomes. Through strong program leadership, organizational awareness, and the ability to influence without direct authority, the IS Program Manager enables leaders to focus on higher-level strategy, stakeholder engagement, and innovation while maintaining alignment, visibility, and accountability across strategic initiatives and their resulting programs of work.
