is looking for a Payroll Supervisor (Human Resource Technician 3) to help us

Join our team responsible for the timely and accurate processing, certification, review, and audit of all payroll and personnel actions for the Department of Transportation and Public Facilities (DOT&PF).
Under the general supervision of the Payroll Supervisor, this position serves as a lead technical resource, helping ensure all payroll, personnel, and leave transactions are completed in accordance with applicable Personnel Rules, bargaining unit provisions, statutes, and standard operating procedures. In this role, you will provide guidance and technical expertise to team members, support managers and employees, and serve as a key point of contact for complex or sensitive issues.

Our office in
Juneau
is conveniently located at 3.5 mile, next to SEARHC and close to DIPAC Macaulay Salmon Hatchery, a central location with plenty of parking and a view of the channel. In-state telework options are available if approved by the supervisor.

The State of Alaska is realigning payroll services by decentralizing the payroll function for seven (7) departments, including the Department of Transportation & Public Facilities. These positions will be located in the Department of Transportation & Public Facilities and work closely with Department of Administration as this transition progresses.
