UAF Community and Technical College has an IMMEDIATE opening for a highly motivated, organized and customer care focused individual to be our HR Coordinator. Our Community and Technical College's (CTC) HR Coordinator serves as the primary liaison between CTC and UA Human Resources in fulfilling human resource related transactions and requirements for the CTC Dean, HR Manager, program staff and faculty. In this position be prepared to put your verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills to work every day as you provide exceptional customer care to each of the various employee types that make up CTC.
You will support staff and faculty from recruitment through termination. You could be preparing job postings, managing timesheet submissions, reviewing and preparing employee contracts, tracking employee training completions and more, all on the same day, so effective time management and the ability to multitask with focus and accuracy are critical.
To thrive in this role you must be able to work independently with little supervision, possess strong analytical skills and perform your work with accuracy while paying close attention to both details and deadlines.
Minimum Qualifications:
Two years of technical human resources experience or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
Position Details:
This is a full-time, 12-month, term-funded, non-exempt staff position with work performed on-site at the UAF Community and Technical College in Fairbanks. UA provides a generous compensation package that includes retirement options, annual leave, 12 paid holidays per year, tuition waivers for employees and family members, and affordable medical, dental and vision care coverage.
