Housing Property Manager

Valley Residential Services (VRS), a non-profit housing provider in the Mat-Su Valley is looking to hire a full-time housing property manager. We are looking for  a motivated person join our team and assist our organization as we continue to grow in our mission to provide affordable housing to the persons in need in the Mat-Su Valley. This person will help us to house and manage the documentation in the 26  properties and 400 plus residential apartments we have.

Qualifications include:

.Experience in housing rental management, property management (preferred).

. Must have a working knowledge and experience with Low Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC), HOME Investment Partnership Program, the HUD 202 and HUD Multifamily programs, the federal Fair Housing Act, Affirmative Fair Housing marketing and other related housing laws.

. Experience in housing rental management, property management, report preparation, and fiel management. Ensure that all paperwork in files and e-files are maintained and required documentation is in order.

.Knowledge  of and ability to navigate in Yardi or Yardi Breeze would be a plus!

.Duties include: Verifying tenant eligibility and qualifications to various housing programs. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must have excellent organization skills and a strong personal initiative and follow-thru. Must be a team player and contribute to the over-all tasks. Must be willing to assit in other dities as assigned.
