What you will be doing:

In this role, you will lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of Personal Care Services and Home and Community-Based Waiver programs, ensuring individuals receive high-quality, person-centered support. You will participate in service planning by reviewing the Consumer Assessment Tool, support plans, and any requested amendments, contributing directly to thoughtful and individualized care decisions.

Additionally,  in this role you will also monitor and evaluate service providers to ensure their practices comply with CMS guidelines and support consistent, high-quality program delivery.

The working environment you can expect:

This postion is located at 1835 Bragaw Street, Suite 350, in Anchorage, Alaska. This location is convenient to numerous shops and restaurants. This position is scheduled for a 7.5-hour workday; start and stop times can be flexible between the hours of 7 am and 5:30 pm.

Hybrid Telework is possible with this position after training and approval from the Division Director.

Experience performing health program planning, development, coordination, evaluation, or implementation; providing technical health care assistance and consultation; conducting health care utilization or quality assurance examinations; and/or delivering health care.

Agencies employing Health Program Managers are responsible for administering a wide range of medical, behavioral, and social health insurance programs for children and adults. Positions typically focus on a particular health area. Where licensure is required, the job vacancy announcement will identify the type of license necessary to apply for that specific position.
