Mt. McKinley Princess Wilderness Lodge
The Food and Beverage Supervisors are an integral part of the Food and Beverage Management team. You will oversee all day to day restaurant operations providing excellent service to our guests including answering guest inquiries, and effectively handling complaints while maintain professionalism and friendly positive attitude that support HAP service excellence values. This position supervises and motivates team members in line with company standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervises food and beverage staff and the activities of the food and beverage operations and services.
Monitors and tracks sales, prepares analysis and recommends strategies to achieve sales and performance goals.
Carries out management responsibilities in accordance with the Company's policies, objectives and applicable government laws and regulations.
Ensure all venues are always presentable and ready for service.
Handle guest complaints according to provided guidelines.
Regular checks of cashier’s paperwork, deposits, tips and correct closeouts of the POS system.
Hold pre-shift meetings with all FOH Team Members.
Maintain safe and healthy work environment by following company standards and sanitation guidelines.
Contribute effectively to a positive guest experience while maintaining a professional attitude and appearance.
Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
Must have a valid alcohol safety card for the State of Alaska.
Minimum age of 21 years required to serve alcohol in the State of Alaska.
Ability to regularly lift a minimum of 10-15 pounds, frequently lift and or move up to 25-50 pounds.
Proficiency in the use of computer business applications, with working knowledge of computerized point of sales (POS) systems.
Ability to comply with company health and safety requirements.
Must have a valid Alaska Food Handler's Card or the ability to obtain certification.
Must pass a pre-employment background check.
Minimum age of 18 years required to reside in company housing, where available.
Participates in HAP’s sustainability program, aka “Sustain Alaska & the Yukon”, and efforts by actively recycling (where available), reducing waste, and educating guests about our commitment to the environment.
Participate in HAP’s safety culture to ensure a safe workplace for all team members and a safe vacation experience for all guests.

Must be eligible to work in the United States.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Ability to organize and prioritize work, maintain attention to time constraints, while working in a team or group environment.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks and external influences.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while achieving daily goals.
Ability to support and comply with company policies, procedures and guidelines including support and comply with company health and safety standards.
Ability to stand/walk/work on feet for minimum of 8 hours per day.
