Events & Programs Coordinator

The Alaska Bar Association is seeking an organized, dependable, and detail-oriented CLE Coordinator & Section Administrator to help plan and deliver professional education programs, conferences, and member activities. The CLE Coordinator & Section Administrator plays an important role in supporting the Alaska Bar Association's Continuing Legal Education (CLE) programs, annual convention, member Sections, and other special programs.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate the logistics and administration of in-person, virtual, and on-demand continuing education programs and professional programs.

Assist with planning and coordinating the Alaska Bar Association’s annual convention and other special events.

Coordinate Section meetings and provide responsive communication and administrative support to Section chairs and members.

Provide occasional backup support for the front desk and phones and assist with other administrative and organizational projects as needed.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree preferred.

Experience coordinating meetings, events, programs, conferences, or similar activities preferred.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong organizational and time-management skills with exceptional attention to detail.

Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities.

Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Experience with event registration systems, databases, website content management, Zoom or other virtual meeting platforms, Canva, or similar technology is a plus.
