What you will be doing:

In this role, you have the responsibility to provide supervision for the Division’s Virtual Call Center (VCC) team under the Field Services unit.

As the Eligibility Technician 4, you will;

Supervise out-stationed employees at various work sites

Provide leadership, guidance, and training to junior staff.

Use independent judgment & initiative to ensure the effective delivery of client services.

This position joins a statewide eligibility team that supports Alaskans throughout our great state. The team’s focus is to assist the public through the division’s virtual call center (VCC).

Minimum Qualifications

One year of experience as an Eligibility Technician 2 with the State of Alaska or its equivalent with another employer and one year of lead or supervisory experience in any job;

OR

One year performing similar work that developed knowledge and skill in leading staff that apply program requirements while working with client customers in stressful situations.

Substitution:

Post-secondary education in such fields as sociology, social work, psychology, counseling, human services, vocational rehabilitation, developmental disabilities, behavioral sciences, business, public administration, or accounting may substitute for the required experience (undergraduate credits: 2.67 semester/4 quarter hours = 1 month).

CLASSIFICATION

This position is currently under review as part of the Public Assistance Field Services Study; therefore, the title and/or pay range currently assigned may be subject to change upon implementation of this class study.

EDUCATION
