What you will be doing:

In this role, you will serve as a team lead for the Division’s Statewide Workflow Monitor (SWFM) team under the Field Services group

You will have the responsibility of:

Managing and processing a prioritized, specialized caseload that requires advanced program and policy knowledge, along with strong research and problem-solving skills to address complex, challenging, and sensitive cases.

Work on projects and initiatives that are of immediate and urgent need for the Division and its clientele.

Minimum Qualifications

One year of experience as an Eligibility Technician 2 with the State of Alaska or the equivalent with another employer;

OR

One year performing similar work that developed knowledge and skills in applying program requirements to diverse situations, conducting interviews, and gathering information in order to obtain and verify information while working with client customers in stressful situations.

Substitution:

Post-secondary education in such fields as sociology, social work, psychology, counseling, human services, vocational rehabilitation, developmental disabilities, behavioral sciences, business, public administration, or accounting may substitute for the required experience (undergraduate credits: 2.67 semester/4 quarter hours = 1 month).

CLASSIFICATION

This position is currently under review as part of the Public Assistance Field Services Study; therefore, the title and/or pay range currently assigned may be subject to change upon implementation of this class study.

EDUCATION

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR FOREIGN EDUCATION

If utilizing this education, you must show that the education credentials have been submitted to a private organization that specializes in the interpretation of foreign educational credentials and that such education has been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education programs or an accredited U.S. state university reports the other institution as one whose transcript is given full value, or full value is given in subject areas applicable to the curricula at the state university.
