Mush dogs on a Glacier in Alaska!
Mushers provide sled dog rides to clients on designated glacier trails. Mushers will maintain a positive outlook and attitude with dogs, guests, and coworkers.
Mushers ensure that all assigned sled dogs are cared for in a competent and careful manner.
Maintaining a clean dog yard and working closely with the Sled Dog Handlers, Vet Tech and Camp Manager.
Ensure that the Company’s operations function to the established quality of standards.
Loading/unloading guests and supplies from helicopter
Musher will assist in general camp duties as assigned by the Camp Manager
Requirements:
At least one winter season of mushing experience required.
If you have never mushed, apply for the entry-level Tour Attendant/Photographer /Handler position.
Valid CPR and First Aid
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Legally able to work in the U.S.
Must be able to pass a drug test (including marijuana)
Room and Board provided while in camp
Consumable recovery fee of $120/month
End of Season Bonus
