Juneau:

$4,064.00 /

Biweekly

Fairbanks:

$3,986.40 /

What you will be doing:

Lead and coordinate department-wide initiatives that improve business processes, data management, technology use, and organizational effectiveness.

Bring together staff from across the Department to identify challenges, evaluate options, and develop solutions to complex business and operational issues.

Analyze existing processes and workflows, identify opportunities for improvement, and help teams implement practical changes that support better outcomes.

Build relationships across program areas, facilitate collaboration, and help move initiatives from planning and discussion to implementation.

Develop standards, guidance, and documentation that support consistency, accountability, and continuous improvement across the Department.

Who we are looking for:

To be successful in this position, the selected applicant will possess the following core competencies:

Project Management

: Knowledge of the principles, methods, or tools for developing, scheduling, coordinating, and managing projects and resources, including monitoring and inspecting costs, work, and contractor performance.

Requirements Analysis

: Knowledge of the principles and methods to identify, analyze, specify, design, and manage functional and infrastructure requirements; includes translating functional requirements into technical requirements used for logical design or presenting alternative technologies or approaches.

Partnering

: Develops networks and builds alliances; collaborates across boundaries to build strategic relationships and achieve common goals.
