The Department of Corrections, Division of Institutions is recruiting for a Criminal Justice Technician 2 LTNP for the Highland Mountain Correctional Center (HMCC) located in Eagle River, Alaska.

What You Will Be Doing:
We are seeking energetic, well-organized, individuals who are capable of performing a variety of paraprofessional work.
Processing, filing and distributing incoming files and paperwork. Answering phone calls, and maintaining prisoner records.
Calculating prisoner Time Accounting Records (computation of release dates and parole eligibility dates) by conducting investigative research and ensuring accuracy of offender records and incarceration history. (Training will be provided.)
Entering, maintaining, updating, and correcting multiple computerized databases.
