Job Summary:
Under supervision maintains departmental files, compiles and prepares necessary data for District Administrators use in preparing budget projections and applying for funding.
Class Summary:
Administers cognitive and achievement assessments to students, manages record keeping of student data, and performs other tasks related to the special education evaluation process.

Administers standardized cognitive and academic tests to students. Ensures testing environment is suitable for the student.

Accurately interprets and records student responses and determines scoring within established assessment parameters.

Knowledge:
Previous education, training, work or life experience which provides reasonable evidence of the successful performance of the various tasks listed. Preference will be given to individuals having specific experience administering standardized assessments.

Training and Experience
(position requirements at entry): Prefer one year of college. Some experience is required working with and assessing children.
Licensing Requirements
(position requirements at entry): Valid Alaska Driver's License.
Physical Requirements:
Light Work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. If the use of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of forces greater than that for Sedentary Work and the worker sits most of the time, the job is rated for Light Work.
