This position is in the Alaska Vocational Technical Teacher's Unit (AVTECTA).
What You Will Be Doing:
Alaska Vocational Technical Center (AVTEC), a division of the Department of Labor and Workforce Development, is recruiting for an AVTEC Instructor who will be responsible for planning, developing, and delivering instruction in the Power Plant Operator and Bulk Fuels Operator programs
ONLINE
and in person. As the Power Plant Instructor, your duties will include maintaining and developing program curriculum; designing, building, and maintaining the practical industry-based labs and shop areas; facilitating program advisory board meetings; and maintaining student training records.
