Administrative Assistant 2

in Anchorage, Alaska.

This position is open to Alaska Residents Only.

What You Will Be Doing

: This position provides technical support to the Assistant Commissioner's Office such as financial, human resource, office, and property management, as well as basic procurement, travel arrangement, calendar scheduling, and office supply inventory.

The incumbent will be expected to perform independently, prioritize work assignments, and demonstrate initiative for identifying needed improvements in the operation of the administrative functions while coordinating with other offices, divisions, and teams.

This position independently analyzes, evaluates, and makes decisions and recommendations related to general administrative procedures and in accordance of the Alaska Administrative Code (AAC); Performs technical duties in multiple administrative functional areas and provides/interprets information that is controlled by policy, procedure, regulation and other guidelines.
