The Department of Family & Community Services is recruiting an Accounting Technician 1 in Juneau!

What You Will Be Doing:
The Department of Family and Community Services is hiring for an Accounting Technician 1 in our Juneau Office! In this role, you will be responsible for completing a range of accounting support duties including processing accounts payable and travel documentation. Under the direction of the Accounting Technician 2, you will reconcile OTPAYS, TAPRCs, PRCCs, GAXs, INs, and PRCs; booking travel for staff, creating and reconciling TAPOs and ensuring all final trip receipts are accurately recorded.

Minimum Qualifications
One year of clerical work experience maintaining records that included using computer systems and performing basic arithmetic calculations.
Substitutions:
Successful completion of a formal vocational education program in accounting or bookkeeping will substitute for the required experience.
Post secondary education from an accredited college will substitute for the required experience (3 semester/4 quarter hours equal one month).
