Accountant 2:

$2,484.00 / biweekly

Accountant 3:

$2,862.00 / biweekly

What you will be doing:

Accountant 2

Under direct supervision from the Administrative Operations Manager, this position serves as support for fund management of emergency capital projects.

The incumbent will provide support as necessary for ensuring funding requirements are met on the Region’s emergency capital projects under state and federal statutory and regulatory guidelines.

Accountant 3

Under general direction from the Administrative Operations Manager, this position serves as support lead for fund management of emergency capital projects.

The incumbent is responsible for ensuring all funding requirements are met on the Region’s emergency capital projects under state and federal statutory and regulatory guidelines.

The incumbent will assist in managing Emergency Funding Authorization Projects and the collection of information and documentation that is needed when the State is expecting to receive reimbursement from FHWA or FEMA for expenses related to an emergent event.

The incumbent will orchestrate CH8 requested when needed and will certify internal cost transactions when needed.

Accountant 2

Any combination of education and/or experience that provides the applicant with competencies in

Accounting Operations:

Knowledge of general ledger accounting and the control/subsidiary account relationships and reconciliation techniques, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and disbursing officer's accountability.

Adaptability:

Adjusts planned work by gathering relevant information and applying critical thinking to address multiple demands and competing priorities in a changing environment.

Analytical Thinking/Problem Solving:

uses a logical, systematic, sequential approach to address problems or opportunities or manage a situation by drawing on one’s knowledge and experience base and calling on other references and resources as necessary.

Computer Skills:

Uses computers, software applications, databases, and automated systems to accomplish work.

Oral and Written Communication:
