# State of Alaska Salary Calculator

Basic pay from the 2026-07-01 GG (general government) schedule — most rank-and-file state jobs. Supervisory, labor/trades, and correctional units have their own schedules. Annual = biweekly × 26. Geographic differentials per AS 39.27.020. PERS employee contribution rates: 8% (Tier IV defined-contribution, hired on or after July 1, 2006) and 6.75% (Tiers I–III general employees); peace officers and firefighters differ — see [the Division of Retirement and Benefits](https://drb.alaska.gov/) . This is an estimate of gross schedule pay, not a pay stub: SBS, union dues, health premiums, and taxes are not modeled.
