# Sources & sync status

Every listing on this board traces to an official source — no user-submitted spam, no mystery inventory. This page shows the collection pipeline itself, live: what we sync, from where, and when it last succeeded. If a source breaks, you'll see it here before we've fixed it.

## How collection works

The board syncs every source each morning (Alaska time), verifying coverage against each source's own reported totals — including the separate promotional lists on state and municipal boards that most job-seekers never find. Every listing links to the official posting to apply; nothing is hosted secondhand. Employers can also [post directly](https://alaskajobs.org/post) (reviewed before publication). Listings that disappear from their source are closed automatically the same morning.

Green = synced on schedule · amber = overdue · red = failing (and we're on it). Aggregate history is published as [open data](https://alaskajobs.org/data) ; the full pipeline is described in the [methodology](https://alaskajobs.org/salaries/methodology) .
