The Department of Transportation and Public Facilities (DOT&PF), Northern Region Design and Engineering Services is looking for a Right-of-Way Agent 5 to help us Keep Alaska Moving! What you will be doing: As the assistant to the regional right-of-way chief, this position oversees a wide array of senior-level, supervisory, and managerial functions across various disciplines of the Regional Real Estate/Right-of-Way Section in support of Department leadership, Regional and State offices and the Department of Law. In all facets relating to the acquisition, property management, and disposal of the Departments highways, airports, and public facilities lands and assets, this position coordinates Region wide right-of-way training and collaboration; policy and procedure recommendations; legislative and regulatory support; program development; and project delivery, property management with particular expertise in the development and application of the Alaska Right-of-Way Manual, State and Federal statutes and regulations, the Uniform Relocation Assistance and Real Property Acquisition Policies Act of 1970, as amended (“Uniform Act”) and as codified in 49 CFR Part 24 (and Appendices), and 23 USC, as codified in 23 CFR, among others. Additionally, the assistant to the regional right-of-way chief directly supervises one position.
