is recruiting for a Recorder 2 in Anchorage.

This position is open to Department of Natural Resources employees only

Only permanent State employees currently working for or laid off from the recruiting department's classified service may apply.

What You Will Be Doing:

Supervise and support Recorder 1 teams, including training, workload management, and performance evaluation.

Perform all Recorder’s Office functions as a working supervisor while overseeing daily front-office operations.

Manage administrative tasks such as timesheets, employee files, inventory, and supply requests.

Handle recruitment support and supervisory actions related to appointments, terminations, promotions, and transfers.

Participate in the leadership team by advising on administrative processes and assisting management with policy implementation and decisions.

If you have not yet obtained a degree, please indicate the units you have completed. Copies of transcripts are required to verify educational credentials if used to meet the minimum qualifications for a position.

Education completed at foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the minimum qualifications listed above. If using this education to meet minimum qualification requirements, you must demonstrate that the credentials have been submitted to a private organization specializing in interpreting foreign educational credentials and that such education has been deemed at least equivalent to that gained in standard U.S. education programs. Alternatively, an accredited U.S. post-secondary institution must report that the other institution's transcript is given full value or that full value is recognized in relevant subject areas aligned with the post-secondary institution's curricula.
