What you will be doing: As a Public Health Nurse 2 within the Section of Epidemiology (EPI), you will play a key role in protecting the health of Alaskans through tuberculosis (TB) prevention, investigation, and treatment support. Based primarily in the Public Health Center, you will apply your public health nursing knowledge to support individuals with TB infection and disease, including helping ensure treatment completion. This position may also include travel to communities across Alaska to provide direct nursing services, education, and consultation in support of the Division’s statewide public health mission.
