What you will be doing:

In this position, you will serve as the Division of Public Assistance's senior policy project manager and program policy advisor. You will lead complex policy development and implementation of initiatives affecting multiple public assistance programs and serve as a subject matter expert in federal and state program requirements.

You will be responsible for managing policy and regulatory projects from concept through implementation, coordinating with program, operational, systems, legal, and executive leadership staff to ensure policy changes are implemented accurately, consistently, and in compliance with state and federal requirements.

Knowledge of procedures for assessing, evaluating, and monitoring programs or projects for compliance with Federal laws, regulations, and guidance.

Project

Management

: Knowledge of the principles, methods, or tools for developing, scheduling, coordinating, and managing projects and resources, including monitoring and inspecting costs, work, and contractor performance.

Research:

Knowledge

of the scientific principles, methods, and processes used to conduct a systematic and objective inquiry, including study design, collection, analysis, and interpretation of data, and the reporting of results.
