What you will be doing: You will play a critical role in safeguarding Alaska’s vulnerable adults, and you will be responsible for receiving and investigating reports of abuse, neglect, and exploitation. You will also evaluate an adult’s decision-making capacity and provide either voluntary supportive services or involuntary protective services, as appropriate. In this role, your other responsibilities include conducting advanced-level casework, developing service plans, preparing legal documentation, participating in court hearings or mediation, and providing testimony when required. This position serves a diverse population of adults who may be experiencing complex behavioral, medical, mental health, and socioeconomic challenges across the lifespan. This Position Requires Frequent Travel within the State of Alaska.
