What you will be doing:

In this role, you provide direct support for statewide performance monitoring of contractors and grantees administering projects funded by the State's Block Grant. This includes Child Care Assistance, Child Care Resource and Referral services, and Alaska Temporary Assistance. The monitoring activities ensure compliance with DOH grants and contracts. Additionally, you will support federally mandated management evaluations of the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) and the SNAP Employment and Training (E&T) program.

This position may be located in Anchorage or Wasilla and is a member of the Program Integrity Contracted Services Management Evaluation Team. You will have the opportunity to work independently in a dynamic environment that values efficiency and initiative. Organizes work, sets priorities, and determines resource requirements; determines short- or long-term goals and strategies to achieve them; coordinates with other organizations or parts of the organization to accomplish goals; monitors progress and evaluates outcomes.

Training from an accredited college or university in any field and/or experience such as performing research; interpreting data; applying, interpreting, and disseminating technical, statutory, and/or regulatory requirements; and/or experience in community development, research, social services, economics, public administration, planning, or a closely related field.
