is

recruiting for a full-time

Program Coordinator 1

located in

Juneau, Alaska.

What You Will Be Doing

The adoption associate coordinator works directly under the Program coordinator who is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the adoption/guardianship support program. The associate coordinator will be working directly with the field personnel to ensure that all state and federal regulations for the program are in compliance. The position will work extensively with the ORCA case management and payment data system that includes the electronic processing of approving adoption and guardianship subsidies.

This position is located in the Goldstein Building in beautiful downtown Juneau. We are surrounded by fantastic views of mountains, the Gastineau Channel, and are conveniently located near many restaurants and stores for easy access to lunch and shopping. We Are Seeking a Candidate with the Following Competencies:

Minimum Qualifications

Any combination of education and/or experience that provides the applicant with competencies in

Analytical Thinking/Problem Solving: uses a logical, systematic, sequential approach to address problems or opportunities or manage a situation by drawing on one’s knowledge and experience base and calling on other references and resources as necessary.

Compliance: Knowledge of procedures for assessing, evaluating, and monitoring programs or projects for compliance with Federal laws, regulations, and guidance.

Decision Making: Makes sound, well-informed, and objective decisions; perceives the impact and implications of decisions; commits to action, even in uncertain situations, to accomplish organizational goals; causes change.

Planning and Evaluating: Organizes work, sets priorities, and determines resource requirements; determines short- or long-term goals and strategies to achieve them; coordinates with other organizations or parts of the organization to accomplish goals; monitors progress and evaluates outcomes.

Equivalent to those typically gained by:

Training from an accredited college or university in any field and/or progressively responsible experience assisting with planning, coordinating, and implementing administrative controls, work processes, and/or procedures for a program, project, business, or organization.
