What You Will Be Doing

Human Resources Technicians analyze, calculate, audit and certify timesheets and process personnel actions on time and without error. This includes assuring all payroll and leave transactions are in accordance with applicable Personnel Rules, Bargaining Unit provisions, State Statutes, and Standard Operating Procedures for the State of Alaska.

The Working Environment You Can Expect

You will enjoy a workplace with a view of Juneau’s beautiful downtown scenery. Located on the 8

th

floor of the State Office Building, you are within walking distance of coffee shops, restaurant, nature trails and the waterfront.

Payroll requires attention to detail and a key part of the workday involves data entry, verifying information, and reconciling figures. The work environment is digitally focused and cyclical leading up to paydays every two weeks.
