The typical schedule is 84 hours per week (40 hours straight time and a minimum of 44 hours at time and a half). All meals and lodging are provided by Worley while the employee is on location. Transportation between Anchorage and Prudhoe Bay is provided. Job Purpose Responsible for the thorough interior and exterior cleaning of heavy-duty trucks, trailers, mobile equipment, light-duty vehicles, and other fleet assets. The position supports equipment readiness by removing dirt, mud, grease, oil, trash, and other contaminants so equipment is clean, presentable, and easier to safely inspect and maintain. Essential Job Functions Clean heavy-duty trucks, trailers, mobile equipment, pickups, and other fleet assets using pressure washers, hoses, brushes, vacuums, and approved cleaning products. Thoroughly clean vehicle and equipment interiors, including floors, seats, dashboards, consoles, doors, windows, mirrors, storage areas, and other cab surfaces. Remove trash, mud, dirt, dust, grease, oil, road grime, and other accumulated contaminants from equipment interiors and exteriors. Clean wheels, steps, running boards, bumpers, equipment bodies, tanks, compartments, and accessible chassis areas as required. Decal Replacement: Remove worn or damaged safety reflective tape and company decals, and apply fresh markings and fleet numbers as needed. Apply approved cleaners and degreasers while protecting electrical components, controls, finishes, seals, decals, upholstery, instrumentation, and other sensitive areas. Rust Prevention: Use wire brushes or simple hand tools to clean up minor rust spots on frames and bumpers. Paint Touch-Ups: Apply quick coats of primer and matching paint to small chips, scratches, and bare metal to protect assets from the corrosive Arctic climate. (Note: This position does not involve professional spray gun operation or full equipment repainting). Perform light detailing activities such as surface conditioning, spot cleaning, glass cleaning, and final appearance work as required. Inspect equipment while cleaning and report visible damage, fluid leaks, broken components, or other obvious safety or maintenance concerns. Maintain wash bays, cleaning areas, drains, hoses, tools, equipment, and supplies in a clean and orderly condition. Properly handle and store cleaning chemicals and materials in accordance with established procedures and Safety Data Sheet requirements. Coordinate with maintenance and operations personnel to support equipment availability and workflow. Perform assigned work safely, efficiently, and to an established fleet-cleanliness standard. Knowledge, Skills, Ability Knowledge of cleaning methods, products, and equipment used for commercial vehicles, heavy trucks, or industrial equipment. Ability to safely operate pressure washers, industrial vacuums, and common cleaning equipment. Ability to safely use cleaning chemicals and follow product instructions and Safety Data Sheets. Ability to recognize visible leaks, equipment damage, or unsafe conditions and communicate concerns to the appropriate personnel. Ability to give and receive oral safety warnings, instructions, and task assignments. Ability to follow written procedures, job instructions, safety requirements, and warning signs. Ability to work independently while supporting maintenance and operations as part of a team. ·Strong attention to cleanliness, work quality, and equipment care. Physical Demand/Work Environment Work is performed in a remote Arctic environment with limited medical resources. Candidate understands the site is approximately 840 miles from surgical, specialist, and tertiary medical care, and medical evacuation may be significantly delayed due to weather conditions. The physical demands described here are representative of those required to perform the essential functions of the position. Ability to stand, walk on level, uneven, and slippery surfaces, sit, squat, kneel, crawl, reach through low and high ranges, work overhead, and maintain normal balance and coordination while wearing Arctic gear. Standing for prolonged periods of time. Driving for prolonged periods of time in darkness and inclement weather. Ability to climb stairs, equipment, and portable ladders as required to safely access areas being cleaned. Lift 50 lbs. from floor to waist with two hands. Lift 50 lbs. from floor to shoulder with two hands. Carry 50 lbs. for 15 feet with two hands. Push/pull 60 lbs. for 20 feet. All data is subject to review by management to ensure compliance with company policies and safe driving practices. Qualifications Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver’s license and the ability to be insured by Worley auto insurer. North Slope Training Cooperative (NSTC). Worley can provide NSTC certification training if needed. Ability to safely use pressure washers, industrial vacuums, cleaning chemicals, and common cleaning equipment. Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position in a remote Arctic environment. Preferred Qualifications 1-2 years experience in commercial vehicle cleaning, heavy equipment cleaning, industrial wash-bay work, fleet support, or detailing. Petrochemical, oilfield, heavy construction, or Arctic work experience. Experience working around heavy trucks, trailers, and mobile equipment.
