The position may be in Anchorage or Wasilla, depending on the location of the most qualified candidate.

What you will be doing

:

In this role, you will support Alaska's Tuberculosis (TB) prevention and control efforts by working closely with the TB Clinical Public Health Nursing team. You will assist with infectious disease surveillance, contact investigations, case finding, outreach activities, and tuberculosis education. You will analyze disease trends and data to support public health planning and decision-making while helping coordinate care across the state. You will also collaborate with tribal partners, local health agencies, and other stakeholders to strengthen public health partnerships and improve health outcomes. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on communities throughout Alaska while building expertise in public health and disease prevention.
