BASE SALARY INFORMATION:

Equipment Operator Foreman 1: $33.59 / hourly - OT Eligible

What you will be doing:

Lead and supervise a maintenance station, managing work schedules, priorities, and safety practices for a team of up to 10 employees.

Inspect highway assets, determine maintenance needs, and oversee complex maintenance and repair activities, ensuring accurate documentation in the AGILE program.

Serve as the primary point of contact for the traveling public and review proposed design plans for highway, dock, and float projects in the area.

Coordinate equipment repair and servicing with State Equipment Fleet staff, ensuring timely maintenance and recommending replacements as needed.

Perform hands-on highway maintenance, including snow and ice control, pavement and drainage work, brushing, sign and guardrail repair, and related tasks using a variety of heavy equipment.
