What You Will Be Doing:

As an Administrative Assistant 1, you will provide advanced clerical and administrative support for the Commission. Your core responsibilities include:

Commission Support:

Act as a liaison between the agency hearing unit and Hearing Commissioners; serve as Commission Secretary by coordinating quarterly meetings, setting up space, and taking minutes.

Investigative Assistance:

Support the Investigations team by monitoring incoming complaints and managing agency case management systems, including coordination with the EEOC.

Office Operations:

Serve as a backup for office assistant duties, including mail processing, inventory monitoring, and screening calls.

Logistics & Travel:

Arrange all transportation, accommodations, and registrations for Commissioners and staff. You will also coordinate training materials and ensure they arrive at sites on time.

Field Support:

Travel across Alaska 1–2 days per quarter to support our mission in various communities.

Notary Services:

Serve as a notary for office-related documents (requires a limited notary certification).
